I was surprised and delighted to find a Burmese language app! I like what this one has to offer but would like to see a more extensive version.

Buggy. No sound after second opening. Yee.

I find it difficult to believe that the Burmese have no word(s) for "Im sorry." After checking for other words and phrases without success, I regret purchasing this app

Used this app in country in May 2010. Great help in all personal interactions. Voices are clear and written portions are well done. It was a good conversation starter, people were intrigued and I was educated by this app.

...an update. The small amount of phrases makes it kind of useless. Gets 2 * because I like the interface.

I got these so I could learn Burmese for my girlfriend and she is so impressed at how quickly Im learning! I like how you get the Burmese writing and the romanization. Please add more phrases!! :-)

Really great concept and setup but I purchased this App to better help me communicate while traveling through Burma and it is missing essential phrases like "i dont eat meat" etc.. And has some completely irrelevant phrases unrelated to travel. More content would be much better for the price.

I really like this Burmese language app and look forward to the addition of more phrases. Jaezu tin ba de!

I have a trip planned to Myanmar and this app is exactly what I hoped to find to help me prepare for my great adventure. Nothing compares to hearing a native speaker pronounce key phrases.

All the important phrases are here, and having the pronunciations makes all the difference, especially in a tonal language. Extremely helpful.

I speak Spanish and this app is very helpful, how about more words, that would help a lot, thanks ;)

I have been to Myanmar several times and have been learning the language each time. The pronunciations of most of the phrases on this app seem to be pretty spot on to what I have learned. Although, some of the spelling is quite different than what I have written as the app says due to the variations in the Burmese alphabet compared to the English alphabet and the different phonetic sounds and such that are part of the Burmese speech it is near impossible to get any one perfect spelling using the English alphabet. I think this app has a lot of useful phrases for a first or even second or third visit to the wonderful country of Myanmar and would definitely (& already have) recommend this to friends.

It is useful for many places and but the food menu is extremely limited. I wish they had vegetarian or vegetables there.

Great but needs an update for 7.*. Currently, with the latest iOS, the Burmese text has shrunk down too small to be useful.

I find this app very useful, start with this app for beginners a must have.
